I'm Georgie and welcome to Peony Vintage!

Peony Vintage is a space for sustainable style, joy, beauty and experimenting with colour. It is a space for friendship, and confidence, simplicity and clashing.  Peony Vintage opened it's Margate doors in 2016, and has grown online ever since. I am also a freelance stylist and working with clothing is my biggest passion since I grew up around costume in and out of theatres.

Whether it's a beautiful cut, fabric or print, I just love anything that someone can feel and look great in. I'm passionate about ethical fashion and those who choose to wear vintage are essentially recycling, as so many different pieces from different eras can be used to create different looks, including many trend led and designer dupes. It's the best fashion purchase you can make for the planet!

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ for vintage clothing and I think that’s so important when celebrating all we are that is beautiful. I think one of the biggest misconceptions about vintage is that it’s only to be worn in conjunction with a whole styled outfit, including hair and make up. Vintage can be worn however suits the soul best. I handpick every single item myself and work hard to make sure I stock a careful edit of impeccable garments with a flair for colour, pattern and exceptional detailing.
